2021 State of the Taxpayer Event to be Held Virtually on Fri., March 5 from 1-3 p.m.

- Statement from Florida TaxWatch President and CEO Dominic M. Calabro

Tallahassee, Fla – Florida TaxWatch’s annual State of the Taxpayer Dinner – traditionally held the Wednesday evening after the Tuesday start of Legislative Session – has long served as a forum for the state’s elected officials to speak directly to the interests of hard-working taxpayers and their families. While we are extremely proud to provide our leaders and legislators with this opportunity, we are even prouder to reinforce our role as a trusted government watchdog through such a well-respected, effective platform every year.

That is why, at Florida TaxWatch, we would not even consider cancelling the 2021 State of the Taxpayer Dinner. Instead, in an abundance of caution and with the hope that COVID-19 will soon be a thing of the past, we will be holding a virtual State of the Taxpayer event on Fri., March 5 from 1-3 p.m. It will be accessible to all who are interested in learning more about topical state-level issues and their impact on taxpayers.

We hope you will join us – the registration link can be found here
