The Florida Cabinet Recognizes July 2019 As “TaxWatch Productivity Awards Recognition Month”
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, in honor of the TaxWatch Productivity Awards (TPA) program’s 30th year, a Cabinet Resolution, sponsored by Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, officially designated July 2019 as “TaxWatch Productivity Awards Recognition Month.”
Originally known as the Davis Productivity Awards and most recently the Prudential Productivity Awards, this nationally unique program presented by Kyra Solutions, Inc. recognizes and rewards the dedication and hard work of state employees who find ways to improve services, increase efficiencies, and save taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars each year.
Since its creation in 1989, the TaxWatch Productivity Awards program has received more than 16,000 nominations and highly dedicated and productive state employees and work groups have produced more than $10 billion of added value to Florida’s taxpayers in the past three decades.

This program originated from the vision of the late J.E. Davis and A.D. Davis, co-founders of Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. and co-founders of FloridaTaxWatch.
