Florida TaxWatch Welcomes Health Care Expert Allison Wiman As Research Analyst

Florida TaxWatch is proud to announce the addition of Allison Wiman, RN, BSN, MPH, to our team. Allison is a research analyst focusing on policies and issues related to health care.

Allison brings more than two decades of experience in nursing and research with presentations and publications on topics ranging from nutrition and school nursing to risk assessments and childhood development.

A native of northwest Indiana, Allison is married with three children and has lived in Tallahassee since 1996. She earned her B.S. in Biochemistry and Agronomy from Purdue University, her B.S. in Nursing from FAMU and her Master of Public Health from Florida State University. Her professional experience includes work as a toxicologist, a research associate and Senior Community Health Nurse with the Florida Department of Health. Allison was part of an FSU team that taught emergency management and CPR to over 300 students and adults in a remote region of Nepal.
