Florida TaxWatch President and CEO Dominic M. Calabro Media Availability Prior to State of The Taxpayer Dinner on Wednesday, January 15

Tallahassee, Fla. – Florida TaxWatch President and CEO Dominic M. Calabro will be available to the media on Wednesday, January 15 at 5:30 p.m. at The Hotel Duval’s Level 8 Ballroom, eighth floor, prior to the State of the Taxpayer Dinner beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Attorney General Ashley Moody, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, State Senator and Judiciary Vice Chairman Jose Javier Rodriguez, State Representative and Judiciary Chairman Paul Renner, Florida Department of Children and Families Secretary Chad Poppell, and Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Executive Director Ken Lawson are scheduled to give remarks between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.

The State of the Taxpayer Dinner provides a forum for Florida’s elected leaders to speak directly to the interests of the taxpayers. This year’s host committee chairman is former Florida Governor Bob Martinez. Former State Senator and Florida TaxWatch Board of Trustees Chairman Pat Neal is the event chairman, and Marva Johnson, Florida TaxWatch Board of Trustees member and regional vice president for Charter Communications, will emcee the evening.
