Florida TaxWatch Expands Resources For Floridians With New Blog

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Enhancing our mission of providing the citizens and public officials of Florida with high quality, independent research and analysis, Florida TaxWatch is proud to announce the debut of a policy- and research-based blog.

Each blog post is written by TaxWatch's expert staff and will provide insights focused on timely and relevant issues facing Florida. FEMA's disaster deductible, tax issues associated with the rise of Uber, and the nebulous role of nurses in schools are just some of the topics that TaxWatch staff has written about and we are excited to expand our research role into this new resource for Floridians.

"We are thrilled to share world-class research on wide-ranging issues that affect everyone in the Sunshine State," said Florida TaxWatch President and CEO Dominic M. Calabro. "Combined with our decades of experience in nonpartisan research, this new outlet will allow us to reach more taxpayers."

"The TaxWatch blog is a great opportunity for Floridians to find information on critical issues affecting their families and lives," said Robert Weissert, Executive Vice President of Florida TaxWatch. "The blog joins the TaxWatch Center for Florida Citizenship's "It's Your Government" series as an online resource for all taxpayers and voters to be informed."
