Florida TaxWatch Senior Vice President of Research Bob Nave said, “Florida TaxWatch remains focused on providing the Bond Oversight Committee with helpful research and analysis, while keeping Broward County taxpayers informed as to how their hard-earned tax dollars are being spent. We are grateful to Superintendent Cartwright for her leadership and collaboration during this process, and we will continue to support her and local school board officials as they work to overcome setbacks, including those caused by rising inflation, supply chain disruptions, worker shortages, and changes in leadership. We hope to help ensure that the remaining Primary Renovation projects, especially those that include activities designed to improve school safety and security, are implemented on time, within budget, and in line with the scope of work.”
