Davis Productivity Awards 2002

A.D. Davis of Winn-Dixie Stores)
Why:
The Davis Productivity Awards, established in 1989 by
Florida TaxWatch and The Florida Council of 100, was created to
recognize and reward the efforts of State of Florida employees
whose innovative efforts have significantly improved services and
saved the state money.
In 2001, these "innovative efforts" resulted in nearly $500 million in
added value to the citizens of Florida. Since the Davis Productivity
Awards inception, $3.9 billion has been added to the delivery of state
services.
