Senior Vice President, Development, Marketing and Communications Deborah Hunt joined the Florida TaxWatch staff in June of 2001 to oversee the development, marketing and communications statewide. She came to FTW after spending nearly 30 years in the trust and financial industry where she developed skills in management, customer service, sales and promotions. According to Florida TaxWatch President and CEO, "We are fortunate to have Deborah Hunt join our team. Her extensive professional, interpersonal skills and successful management experience will broaden and enhance Florida TaxWatch's presence and effectiveness throughout the state". She has lived and worked in Tallahassee, Florida since 1981 and has been very involved in many local civic, professional, charitable and public interest organizations. Some of her accomplishments include 1999 nominee for "Distinguished Leader of the Year" given by Leadership Tallahassee and 1990 recipient of the "Administrator of the Year" for the Barnett Banks Trust Company. Prior coming to Florida TaxWatch, Deborah worked with Barnett Banks Trust Company, First Union, AmSouth Bank and Merrill Lynch. Deborah's accreditation's include Securities License for Series "7" and "63" as well as Health Life and Variable Annuity. She is also a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor through the American Institute of Banking in Washington, D.C. She attended Lake City Community College in Lake City, Florida. She is married to James M. "Jim" Hunt and they have two children, Dallas and Danielle. The Hunt's enjoy working in their church, Killearn United Methodist Church, walking, reading and travel.
